I just want to give a HUGE thank you for everyone who came out and supported us during my first ever Fringe. I didn’t get to personally meet a lot of you because I was busy keep stock in the booth for you to look at. You did get to say hi to Theo and my mom who had a lot of fun. Thank you for that.

For those I did get to meet I loved hearing your stories about who you were buying the shirts for, or how much you were going to love the earrings you just bought. It was also nice to see many of you come back who had purchased from us at one of our other many shows we have been at and tell me how much you love what you bought.

We have been doing this for less than a year and you guys have given me nothing but support to help me keep making new designs and fun things for you.

You will be seeing us around over Christmas and the last few fall shows so be sure to check us out.

Also a thank you to all of you in Calgary that made it out to Market Collective this weekend. Even though I only had prints there you still managed to show your love.

It is nice to be in a place where people are so supportive of creativity. It helps me to keep doing what I love.

Well better late than never to tell you that we will be setup in Calgary for Market Collective. It runs on Saturday from 10 – 5 and Sunday from 11 – 6 at the Ant Hill Building in Kensington in Calgary.

There will be some of the prints as well as, which include a few new ones, and tons of feather earrings you can buy at on Whiteout Market made by Sarah at BirdonWire. She will be the one at the booth so please go say hi to her.

Don’t forget for all of you here in Edmonton we still have at The Fringe for another few days. I just screened TONS of new shirts today and they will be for sale tomorrow. There are even some new colours as well that have never been seen.

Well there is 5 more days left at The Fringe and we are having an amazing time. I will admit the evenings have been cold, but it hasn’t seemed to spot you guys from coming out.

I am still making new stuff and will be sewing lots of new bags today to have tonight. There is even one more and possibly two more shirt designs coming your way. You’ll have to stop by this weekend to have a look.

I keep promising to fire up some photos of the booth, which I PROMISE I will do tomorrow. I will also put up the new record shirt we have been selling in red and black as well.

Oh and we have more feather earrings coming in daily thx to my sister at BirdonWire for working hard to make sure you have lots to choose from.

Well to say I have been busy making stuff would be an understatement. It was been CRAZY! I am done screening new stuff … for now. I still have two new designs to show off as The Fringe goes on so you’ll have to keep checking back. The new record design, which I will post photos here soon (they’re on FB) is now the fan favourite. It is screened in black on red shirts, white on black shirts and also in a variety of print sizes up to 18 x 24 for only $20.

We are at The Fringe until August 22nd and it runs from noon – midnight. Please come say hello and check out the new stuff. We even have v-necks! I will also post some photos of the booth, which you all seem to be in love with as well. I like it too … ha.

Some exciting news! First off tomorrow we will be at the City Center Farmers Market from 9 – 3 pm here in Edmonton. If you have never been it is just north of Jasper Ave on 104 st. It is an amazing outdoor market filled with awesome food, art and good times. Personal favourite will always be the popcorn.

Anyways … sorry … the exciting news. We will be having a mini sale all the next few shows trying to sell off all the Spring & Summer collection to get ready for the Fall & Winter collection. This collection will debut at The Fringe … yes THE FRINGE. It is less than 28 days away and to say I am excited would be and understatement. I along with the help of Theo, are working hard to get everything ready and I can’t wait to show all of you. In the mean time though, come say hi and pick up some awesome stuff at a great price!

As you all may or may not know I am a BIG fan of all the work Second Chance Animal Rescue does for help give animals, more specifically dogs, a second chance and a life full of love.

I decided to start fundraising a while ago and I am happy to say I already have $200 ready to donate. I will also be helping by silk screening bandanas and selling them at the event with 100% of the proceeds going to SCARS. They will be sold for only $2.50 so I am hoping to get another $100 to pass along.

I also took the time to sew some other fun ones as well to sell, which you can see in the photos below. Just don’t tell Baron he is wearing a girl bandana.

The event is at Lions Park out in St. Albert and there will be lots of fun things going on. It is free and there will also be a BBQ and a donation area set up if you are able to help in anyway, toys, bedding or bidding on raffle items. Check out the link for more information.

It is meant to rain tomorrow, but I am hoping since we all live in Alberta we can tough out the weather for a great cause.

Well it looks as though the weatherman was wrong again … go figure! Tomorrow it is meant to be rainy, so it is the perfect time to spend a few hours shopping for handmade goodies. We will be set up at Orange Hall just behind the Strathcona Farmers Market from 10 – 4 pm. Theo will be working at the table as I am at fundraiser. We will be at two amazing shows on July 10th. I will post more about it soon, but just wanted to give a heads up.

The first event will be the Handmade Mafia which I am sure you have all seen me at. It runs from 10 – 4pm at Orange Hall behind the Strathcona Farmers Market.

The second event will be a fundraiser for Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS). Many of you might know I am very in love with my dog Baron and I am fundraising money to help with SCARS to make sure that abandoned and dogs in need of medical care have help. I will be silk screening and designing bandanas to help fundraise money as well. This is something brand new to Whiteout Workshop, but I think will be an awesome second use for our skills.

I will write more about this later. Stay tuned!

Right after The Works on Canada Day we will be in Calgary for the 17 Ave Market. It is in the park right at 8th street and runs from 12 – 5 pm. It is our first time being there so come out to give us a warm welcome. We should still have lots of selection from Canada Day.

Well today was awesome, even with a bit of rain today down at The Works at Churchill Square in Edmonton. Tomorrow is going to be BUSY and I am excited to celebrate Canada Day with all of you.

The new batch of feather earrings are here with lots of singles and mismatched pairs, which is always fun. There is a large selection, but it will be picked through pretty fast so get there early. We still have all our other amazing stuff as well.

We will be setup tomorrow from 1130 – 930 so please come down to say hi.

Just a quick note to let you know we will be setup at the City Center Farmers Market here in Edmonton tomorrow (June 26th) from 9 – 3 pm. It is located on 104 st just north of Jasper Ave.

This market is one of my favourites because it is filled with wonderful people, food, art and just generally just has an amazing vibe.

I just stocked up some of the shirts I was running low on, so if you didn’t get a chance to buy them before now is the time!

Hey everyone!

Some exciting things are happening to Whiteout Workshop, or as you used to know us as BirdonWire. My two companies have formed together to include all my advertising and silk screening with my stuff I have been selling before under BirdonWire. The site is still being built and has a few linking updates that are needed, but you can have a look. The old BirdonWire blog is still up and running so you can still get there through a link on the main page of Whiteout Workshops site.

Now this weekend! We will be setup at two wonderful shows.
Market Collective – Calgary on June 19th – 20th

If runs 10 – 6 on Saturday and 11 – 5 on Sunday

The show runs from 10 – 4 both day.
The show is right out on the street and will be a great event filled with lots of art, music and a bunch of other great things … aka you are in the mtns! It doesn’t get better than that. Head to their site for more info.

Other exciting news is that the studio that is currently in Calgary has gotten so busy that it is moving up to Edmonton. Nice way of saying I can now work 24/7 on screening and art. As always contact me if you need anything done.
