Whiteout Workshop was started in 2009 by myself, Natasha Paterson and my love for t-shirts and impacting art. After graduating from Photographic Technology 8 years prior and not knowing what to do with it, I went back to school taking Graphic Communication. Working in the publishing industry designing magazines and other publishing material for 5 years I knew something had to be done about this 9 – 5 job! I always had a dream of designing t-shirts and well … I just went for it.

After designing a few shirts and having trouble finding an amazing silk screener I went out and bought my own screening studio and hired myself. After months and months of mistakes, trial and error things started to resembled some fun shirts from courses I had taken in silk screening a few years back. Trust me I am making this sound easier than it was, it was long hours and I swear all my money …

From there the story is still being written … that day going forward it has been an amazing experience creating artwork and selling all over Canada and on our online store. I absolutely love what I do and can’t wait to see where this takes me.

In the past year because of your amazing support I have even been able to move my studio out of my home and have a permanent location in DT Edmonton, which I LOVE! It was a bit of a journey to get there starting in my dads basement in Calgary, renovation my studio into my home and now this. I am just in the process of starting to plan courses to pass on my love of silk screening and designing to teach all of you. Can’t wait to have your over in my studio and sharing my passion with you.

Now back to what I love doing with my happy companion (Baron) by my side! He thanks you as well since he gets to enjoy the outdoors everyday with me.
